Taken from 'The Ladybird Book of Garden Flowers' published in 1960 the design was re-worked into a stunning repeat in two colour options, dawn and dusk, offering two very different apparitions of the same design, one shadowy and soft, one rich and indulgent.”

Stylised into a floral paisley, the print represents two of the most famous styles of Liberty print, designs from the Orient and florals.”

“Created and named to mark the 140th birthday celebrations at Liberty in 2015, 140 designs were selected from the archive spanning every decade since Liberty opened its doors in 1875 and used as inspiration to create an anthology of Liberty Print. The design was hand drawn in pencil from original documents before being hand painted in gouache into a full width repeat. This dense tapestry of furnishing archive prints were woven together to create a floral peacock garden with swimming swans and gliding birds.”
