Terms of Trade

Tapetorama is a Swedish company and is mainly directed towards Swedish customers. However, due to the unique character of our business we often get requests from outside Sweden. We do ship outside Sweden, but customers should be aware that shipping costs, delivery times and VAT/Consumer taxes varies between different destinations. It is important that you read through our Terms of trade before ordering, and we also recommend that you read the FAQ. The price seen in the Shopping Cart should be seen as an estimate only and after you have placed an order with us we will get back to you with more detailed information. No order is binding until we have received payment.

Utländska kunder / Foreign customers

Betalningsalternativ / Payment options: Förskottsbetalning till vårt konto (EU + Norge) eller med kreditkort via Paypal (med 4% tillägg för att täcka Paypal-avgifterna). / Payment in advance to our account or with credit card through Paypal (with an additional 4% charge to cover the Paypal fees).
Moms / VAT: Alla priser på hemsidan anges inklusive 25% svensk moms. Vid leveranser utanför EU och till företag inom EU dras momsen av vid betalning. / All prices on the website are including 25% Swedish VAT. On deliverys outside the EU and to VAT-registered companies within the EU the VAT will be subtracted from the price. Fraktkostnad / Shipping costs: Beror helt på destination, vikt/volym och önskad leveranstid. Fråga gärna, beställningen är inte bindande innan vi kommit överens om fraktkostnaden. Varorna skickas normalt när alla varor kommit i lager. Önskas separata sändningar tillkommer ytterligare fraktkostnader. / Depends upon destination, weight/volume and wanted delivery time. Please ask, the order is not binding until we have agreed upon the delivery cost. The shipment is normally sent when all goods are in stock. If seperate deliveries are wanted there will be additional delivery costs.
Leveranstid / Delivery time: Det finns ofta ett flertal alternativ att välja mellan beroende på om man prioriterar snabb leverans eller lågt pris. Observera att denna leveranstid är utöver den som är angiven på respektive artikel. Leveranser utanför EU kan dessutom fastna i tullen. / There are usually several options depending upon if the priority is speedy delivery or low cost. Please note that this delivery time is added to the lead time (leveranstid) stated with each article. Shippings outside EU can be delayed by customs.
Beskrivningar och bilder / Descriptions and pictures: Alla beskrivningar av varorna har gjorts i god tro och utifrån våra egna observationer och tillverkarens beskrivningar. De skall dock bara ses som ungefärliga beskrivningar. Eftersom färgåtergivningen varierar beroende på bildskärmsinställningar så skickar vi småprover på (nästan) alla tapeter och tyger för 10 kr/st (handtryckta tapeter 30 kr/styck) + 20 kr frakt, och stora prover från 50 kr/st + 40 kr frakt (läs här för mer info). OBS! Eftersom vi inte har alla prover hemma måste vi ibland beställa dem från leverantören vilket kan ta allt ifrån 1-4 veckor. / All descriptions of the items on the website have been made in good faith according to our own observations and the manufacturers descriptions. They should nevertheless be seen as approximate descriptions. Since colour reproduction differs according to the settings of the monitor we send small samples of (nearly) all wallpaper and textiles at 10 SEK/sample (handprinted wallpapers 30 SEK/sample) + 20 SEK shipping, and large samples from 50 SEK/sample + 40 SEK shipping. Please note that since we do not have all samples in stock we sometimes have to order them from the manufacturer which may take 1-4 weeks.
Returer / Returns: Privatpersoner: 14 dagars ångerrätt räknat från mottagandet enligt distansavtalslagen. Ångerrätten gäller endast samtliga varor av samma sort, det går inte att använda en del och skicka tillbaka det övriga. Handtryckta tapeter är undantagna från ångerrätten eftersom de oftast tillverkas på beställning. Köparen står för alla fraktkostnader. Företag: 14 dagars öppet köp på lagerförda varor. Köparen står för alla fraktkostnader. Inget öppet köp på beställningsvaror. / Individuals: 14 days right of return from time of reception. All items ordered at the same time must be returned. Handprinted wallpaper can not be returned since they are often produced on deman. The buyer pays all shipping costs. Companies: 14 days right of return on stocked items from time of reception. The buyer pays all shipping costs. For non-stocked items no right of return.
Reklamationer / Damaged or faulty goods: Varorna bör kontrolleras inom 14 dagar efter mottagandet. Skulle det finnas synliga skador på varorna kontaktar ni oss och skickar ett prov på felet. Fraktskador ska reklameras till Posten. Felaktiga varor ersätts i första hand med ny vara, och om detta inte är möjligt ges pengarna tillbaka. Finns det felfria artiklar kan dessa returneras på vår bekostnad. / The goods should be inspected within 14 days after reception. Should there be any visible damages, contact us and send a sample of the damage. Damaged goods are in the first hand replaced by new goods, if this is not possible a complete refund is made for the damaged goods. Undamaged goods can then be returned at our expense.
Ersättning för externa kostnader / Compensation for external costs: Tapetorama ersätter inga kostnader uppkomna på grund av försenade leveranser eller defekta artiklar. Vänligen kontrollera varorna innan montering och beställ i så god tid som möjligt. / Since outside our control Tapetorama do not compensate any external costs due to delayed shipments or damaged/faulty goods. Please control the goods before use and order in as good time as possible.
Limited warranty on vintage articles: Since our vintage wallpaper may be up to 90 years old there are limitations in warranties concerning lightfastness, washability and usability. Special care should be taken when hanging these products. Since we have not tested all vintage products, there may be unknown faults on them. Should any problems occur while hanging, such as excessive bleed through or if spots appear, stop hanging after first roll and wait until wallpaper has dried. Should the problem remain, please contact us for further advice. The rest of the wallpaper can be returned free of charge and a full refund is made. Photographic or physichal evidence of the fault may be required.

Bindande beställningar / Binding orders: Beställningar är bindande från det vi mottagit betalning. Om det visar sig att vi inte kan leverera varan enligt angiven tid skickar vi ett meddelande om detta. Kunden kan då välja att bibehålla beställningen eller att häva den, varvid hela beloppet återbetalas. / Orders are binding after we have received full payment. Should we not be able to deliver the articles within the specified time, the customer will be given the option to cancel the order, in which case the full amount will be repaid, or to go ahead with the order.
Äldre artiklar / Vintage articles: Vi bara kunnat göra en översiktlig inventering av våra äldre varor. Om det vid närmare granskning visar sig att de inte till fullo motsvarar beskrivningen (till exempel skadade/feltryckta rullar eller att det är olika tryckversioner på tapeterna) så skickar vi ett meddelande om detta tillsammans med eventuella rabatterbjudande. Kunden kan då välja att bekräfta beställningen eller att avboka den. / We have only been able to make a superficial inventory of our vintage stock. If, on closer examination, it turns out that any article does not in full correspond to the description (for instance damaged/faulty rolls or rolls from different batches) we will inform the customer on this and offer corresponding discounts, which may be accepted or denied.
